Film Trailers for "Imogen in the Wild"

With mere weeks before their film adaptation of Cymbeline, "Imogen in the Wild" premieres, the Shakespeare in Yosemite team has released two teaser trailers.

The first trailer, "A Love of Wild Nature," shows Imogen as a child, wandering through the breathtaking mountains and lakes of Yosemite National Park, where much of the production is filmed. A young man appears in a forest at the end, haunted with regrets, hinting at the story to come...

The second trailer introduces more characters, this time in a cleverly scored silent film style. Between black-and-white title cards, we see the evil Queen scheming on a laptop, seated at a picnic table. We then see a flash of "our heroes," a pair of park rangers, seeking shelter in a forest cave.

Both trailers offer a glimpse at the mountainous environment in which "Imogen in the Wild" has located this retelling of Cymbeline, as well as fragments of the score composed and performed by Debra Ann Byrd.
