The eagerly awaited debut of Shakespeare in Yosemite’s feature film, Imogen in the Wild, takes place this Saturday, 20 November, at 16.00 Pacific Time/19.00 Eastern/01.00 GMT (21 November).

While filming Imogen in the Wild, Shakespeare in Yosemite’s research assistant Monica Perales interviewed the cast and crew about their experience adapting Cymbeline. Cymbeline in the Anthropocene interviewed Isabella Camfield, a high school teacher in Los Angeles, about her co-ordination of a freely accessible website of educational resources for students and teachers to accompany the release of the Shakespeare in Yosemite feature film, Imogen in the Wild.

Since September, internationally distinguished playwright and director Mónica Maffía has been running an Eco-Shakespeare Lab at El Cultural San Martin in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she is currently artist in residence. Working with several theatre artists on the text of Cymbeline, the Shakespeare Lab will act as an incubator for the Setebos company’s production as part of Cymbeline in the Anthropocene. Below is a sneak peek at Mónica’s notes from the Shakespeare Lab’s first five sessions: fragments and reflections from the workshops in progress.
