Rehearsal Notes from #EcoShakespeareLab
Since September, internationally distinguished playwright and director Mónica Maffía has been running an Eco-Shakespeare Lab at El Cultural San Martin in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she is currently artist in residence. Working with several theatre artists on the text of Cymbeline, the Shakespeare Lab will act as an incubator for the Setebos company’s production as part of Cymbeline in the Anthropocene. Below is a sneak peek at Mónica’s notes from the Shakespeare Lab’s first five sessions: fragments and reflections from the workshops in progress.
